Yeah, nice covers list (Quasi is still alive??) but, ooh: “a remix compilation– featuring Battles, Four Tet, Jason Forrest, Caribou, Junior Boys, Trey Told ‘Em, Barbara Morgenstern, John McEntire (Tortoise, the Sea and Cake), Mark Robinson (Unrest, Teenbeat Records), and Hands Off Cuba– will be announced later.”

“Any movie that places a toothless Ed Helms, snuggler Zach Galifianakis, face-tatted Mike Tyson, and vintage Phil Collins in the same Las Vegas suite is already unlocking previously unknown doors of lascivious joy worthy of Pier Pasolini.”

The real Rap Snacks recipe.

This is looking good: “‘The Limits of Control’ is the story of a mysterious loner (played by Mr. De Bankole), a stranger, whose activities remain meticulously outside the law. He is in the process of completing a job, yet he trusts no one, and his objectives are not initially divulged. His journey, paradoxically both intently focused and dreamlike, takes him not only across Spain but also through his own consciousness.” Trailer included.

Kuti isn’t the first person to remix YouTube — Japanese art/music group Delaware actually did these YouTubeHARMONY mashups in 2007, but were going after an entirely different effect. This one’s my favorite. Sometimes I watch it upwards of 10-15 times in a row.

Just in case you haven’t yet seen — Kutiman remixes YouTube to, like, basically stunning effect.
