Almost Iannucci Watch overload, I can hardly cope: "The Thick of It writer Armando Iannucci has confirmed he is working on a second series of the Bafta-winning TV show. Iannucci said writing on the political satire was at a 'very early' stage but should be completed later this year."

"A certain air of mystery has thus far surrounded the production of the Werner Herzog-helmed, David Lynch-produced psychological horror film "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done." Now that filming has reportedly been completed though, a full synopsis and a poster has finally been unveiled."

Ack, Austin soon, please? "We’ve been invited to take the “Music to Draw to…” event to select cities outside Montreal. Baby daughter doesn’t like to do the one-city/one-night tours… so the whole family is going to be posting up in select towns for a whole 3-4 days (which is rare for me). And just for the sake of balance… or maybe dynamics… we’ve decided to combine 2 events into what will now be known as the LOUD PARTY/QUIET WORK weekend."

Iannucci Watch explodes with joy: "Armando Iannucci's In The Loop is one of the smartest and sharpest political satires in years, but also one of the funniest. But don't take our word for it: every day this week we've got an exclusive clip / deleted scene / webisode (the borders are a bit porous) from the film, focused on 'angriest man in Scotland' Jamie MacDonald."
